EUMUNDI COFFEE ORGANIC BLEND
We carefully selected organic green beans from Honduras and Papua New Guinea (PNG) to create a coffee with a rich, well-rounded flavor, whether enjoyed with milk or as an espresso. Plantations committed to chemical-free and ethical farming practices grow these beans, and we expertly pair them for their complementary characteristics. This results in a well-balanced, full-bodied coffee experience—one that also makes a positive social and environmental impact..
HONDURAS - LIQUIDAMBAR FARM
Tasting Notes: We chose our Honduras green bean for its smooth notes of caramel, chocolate, and orange, complemented by a rounded body and bright orange acidity.
Growers: Liquidambar Farm, located in San Marcos, Honduras, grows this exceptional coffee. The farm pioneered an innovative composting process, repurposing the skin and pulp from processed coffee beans to create foliar fertilizer—an approach now widely adopted by organic coffee farms worldwide. Committed to environmental conservation, the farm preserves 25% of its 56-hectare land as natural forest and indigenous wildlife habitat. It also provides drinking water to the local community and actively supports women in the coffee industry, with owner Delmy Regaldo leading these initiatives.
PNG - CHIMBU PROVINCE
Tasting Notes: We selected our PNG coffee bean for its rich notes of chocolate and black tea, with a medium-bodied orange acidity that perfectly complements our Honduras Organic Beans.
Growers: PNG Coffee Cup Ltd, a cooperative of 5,600 smallholder farmers across eight co-operatives, cultivates our PNG organic beans in the Chimbu Province. These small farms empower communities to maintain control over their land and farming methods. Certified organic since 2003, the farmers rely on traditional, sustainable techniques. They hand-pulp and wash their coffee cherries before drying them, using natural resources like leaf litter and coffee pulp as nutrient-rich mulch. By growing diverse crops alongside their coffee, they sustain a thriving ecosystem without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
