EUMUNDI COFFEE ORGANIC BLEND
We carefully selected organic green beans from Honduras and Papua New Guinea (PNG) to bring you a coffee that delivers a rich, well-rounded flavor, whether enjoyed with milk or as an espresso. Sourced from plantations committed to chemical-free and ethical farming practices, these beans are expertly paired for their complementary characteristics. The result is a well-balanced, full-bodied coffee experience—one that also makes a positive social and environmental impact.
ORGANIC HONDURAS – LIQUIDAMBAR FARM
Tasting Notes:
Our Honduras green bean was selected for its smooth notes of caramel, chocolate, and orange, complemented by a rounded body and bright orange acidity.
Growers:
Grown in San Marcos, Honduras, by Liquidambar Farm, this plantation is recognized for its dedication to organic farming. The farm pioneered an innovative composting process that repurposes the skin and pulp from processed coffee beans to create foliar fertilizer—an approach now adopted by organic coffee farms worldwide.
Liquidambar Farm also prioritizes environmental conservation, dedicating 25% of its 56-hectare land to natural forest and indigenous wildlife. It provides drinking water to the local community and actively supports women in the coffee industry, with owner Delmy Regaldo playing a key role in these initiatives.
ORGANIC PNG – CHIMBU PROVINCE
Tasting Notes:
We selected our PNG coffee bean for its rich notes of chocolate and black tea, with a medium-bodied orange acidity that perfectly complements our Honduras Organic Beans.
Growers:
Sourced from the Chimbu Province, our PNG organic beans are produced by PNG Coffee Cup Ltd, a cooperative of 5,600 smallholder farmers across eight co-operatives. These small farms allow communities to maintain control over their land and farming practices. Certified organic since 2003, these farms rely on traditional, sustainable methods. Farmers hand-pulp and wash their coffee cherries before drying them, utilizing natural resources like leaf litter and coffee pulp as nutrient-rich mulch. By cultivating diverse crops alongside their coffee, they maintain a thriving ecosystem without the need for chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
